Catchin' Fire

Darkness lingers
as he runs his fingers through her hair.

Romeo and Juliet,

fade away to silhouettes.

Turn on the radio
late at night.
Turn it way down low.
Turn on the radio
late at night.
Turn it on and dance real slow.

Take it nice and easy.
Take me by the hand.
Take it to the limit.
Take me to The Promise-land

            -------------

have you ever seen any thing so beautiful as the thin blue ribbon
            tied around the morning sun.

  1. Let’s take this time to create our own private midnight waltz
One where i loose my footing somewhere down the line
And you feel the need to exaggerate the motion of pulling me close, prepared for a dip, and give a debonair look
With this look you raise those eyebrows and angle your eyes
And I can’t help but giggle
The sound echoes in the night
And here our laughter becomes the music
to our own private midnight waltz

& then we can watch the sun rise
